InspiresI am looking for a friend who can join my life journey. I defended my Ph.D. (Physics) in 2019 and am currently working as a space physics research analyst. I received my green card last year. I keep interest in politics, economics and literature - overall looking at the big picture which has helped me to build a holistic outlook on life issues. I think I have a keen sense of humor as well. There is a nice saying by Gandhi on how humor had helped him in keeping sane through the miseries of life. I am paraphrasing the quote but I think it does help us to wade through the vicissitudes of life. I have great faith in family as an institution as I grew up in a milieu where it was the normal mode of societal organization but apparently, times are changing that I feel relegated to be an old-school perplexed person. I like good honest conversations and I think I am honest, kind-hearted decent person but unfortunately - I find those virtues of old-school families are on decline. Competition and freedom drive the market economy but there is a significant loss of what I thought were virtues that bound society as I grew up as a kid. Perhaps, I was innocuous but that continues to leave me perplexed ... :(. This can be a long essay .. I shall stop here. Let's try to converse if you think this sounds interesting.
